You can tell that this is a Mack Dawg movie, cause there is a whole shit load of Spinning and Jibbing, even more than Decade! The parts to look forward to are Devun Walsh's, Mikey Leblanc's, and J.P Walkers. The video cleary states the progression of snowboarding, cause these guys/girls are pushing it to the next level. Plus, the movie comes with a free cd, I don't know how "free" it could be when the video costs about \$75 Canadian.
Decade
Decade is a wicked movie. It won the 1999 Reader's Poll Awards "Best Movie" award. And it hosted the best movie parts, including: Peter Line, Devun Walsh, Jeremy Jones, and J.P. Walker. Some people think that punk and snowboarding don't mix, but this movie definitely got me stoked to go ride. It also comes with a "Free" cd.
Three Ring Circus
At first I thought that this movie was kind of bleak, but after a while a decided to turn the volume down on my t.v. and crank the tunes on my stereo, it worked out pretty well. Rider's in this movie include: Devun Walsh, Tina Basich, Kevin Young, Trevor Andrew, and some skateboarding by Chad Muska and Andy McDonald
Shorty's Snowboards : A Young Brown Walsh
The Shorty's snowboard team was a short lived experience, but they did a hell of a job making this video. The video is comprised of four riders: Devun Walsh, Dionne Delesalle, Chris Brown and Kevin Young, with Cameos by: Marc Frank Montoya, Trevor Andrew, Kale Stephens, Kevin Sansalone, Derek Scott, and Marc Morrisett. Alot of progressive riding was brought to the table in this video, and alot of funny shit. Video highlights would probably
be: Chris Brown landing on a skier, Two drunk guys body slamming one another, Devun Walsh's backside 180 Japan (smooooooooth......), and Devun Walsh brushing his teeth while drunk.
Clearcut
Filmed in the backcountry of B.C. "Clearcut" is probably the best snowboarding video I've seen so far, some of the cinematography is so good, while the riding steps up another level. The video includes alot of freestyle snowmobiling, some skateboarding by Rick McCrank and Alex Chalmers, and snowboarding by: Allan Clark, David Carrier Porcheron, Devun Walsh, Fabien Rohrer, Kale Stephens, Derek Heidt and many others. One thing that puts this video above
the rest is the "Powder Pillow" riding, and the music wasn't all that bad too, mostly hip-hop, but it sounds pretty cool. The only shitty thing in the video was that Walsh's part was too short.
Lil' Bastards
Lil' Bastards has to be one of the funniest snowboard videos I've ever seen, featuring Devun Walsh, JF Pelchat, Mikey LeBlanc, Chris Brown, Dionne Delesalle, Max Jenke, Joel Mahaffey, Nate Cole, Kale Stephens, Rob Dow and Dave Cashen. These guys rip it up in over 30 countries, while taking there drunkin antics with them. Go out and buy this video, it's worth it. Best parts go to Devun Walsh, Chris Brown, and Kale Stephens.
Second Wind
Treetop Productions kicks out Second Wind, a film recorded almost completely in 16mm. This video features riders such as: Shandy Campos, Shin Campos, Dave Basterechea, Kale Stephens, Derek Heidt, Brain Savard, David Carrier Porcheron, and Matt Domaniski. The riding in this video is unbelievable, weather it be freestyle to huge ass mountain riding. Best parts go to Shandy Campos, Matt Domaniski, and Dave Basterechea
The Resistance
The Forum team has yet again assembled another top quality freestyle film with the help from Mack Dawg Productions. This video busts out the latest in jibbing and freestyle. Riders featured in the video are: Devun Walsh, Peter Line, Joni Malmi, J.P. Walker, Bjorn Leines and Jeremy Jones. Best parts go to Devun Walsh, Bjorn Leines, and Jeremy Jones.
